Meme Fave Jared Harris

“Meme fave” often refers to Jared Harris, an actor who played Francis Crozier in The Terror and Valery Legasov in Chernobyl, among other roles that are less relevant to this discussion.

In June 2019, a nonny read the book version of The Terror and posted in Fandom Venting about their disappointment in it. (For the record, “escutcheon” is not a sexy way to refer to a character's pubic hair.)

Some nonnies expressed relief that the show was better, to which an anon responded: “The show is, if anything, worse than the book. But it's got meme fave Jared Harris, so obviously it's the sacred as far as meme is concerned.”

“I don't know why "meme fave Jared Harris" is making me laugh so much. I mean, I liked him in Mad Men? But nobody's an official Meme Fave until you've had your own appreciation thread, or some nonny devoted to your butthole. Harris is small potatoes.”

A couple days later, a Chernobyl nonny used the term too.

Since then, “Meme Fave” has been an affectionate in-joke among those nonnies who do like Harris. Most of meme remains only vaguely aware of who he is.
