Tumblr Elementary SJW Wank

In October 2012, a nonny wrote,

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that after all the racist and sexist bs that was said by bbc sherlock fans, Elementary attracted some bb sjws. but they're already so annoying with their call outs and chastising, fuck you, I don´t need to be chastised because “one of our own” used the word crazy in their tags. It's like every five minutes there is a call-out, and now they're going after fans of the show, it's gonna kill the fandom.

Nonny also provided examples, such as a white person calling out someone else, who turned out to be an Asian woman, for “orientalism”; and this quote:

imma need fellow elementapeeps to call out fucks who are casually using ableist slurs in our tags.
and by that i mean calling people cr*zy or insane

Another nonny, identifying themselves as having “a mental illness and a learning disability,” said they were “more bothered about the colloquial use of 'retarded' than 'crazy.'”

Up popped the SJW quoted as using "cr*zy" with an asterisk, who apparently Tumblrs as both “someothermonstra” and “someotherghoul”:

Good for you!
Thank you for clearing that up for me, I forgot I should check in with other people who have mental illnesses before I ~~~chose~~~ to become offended and then triggered by the continuous anonymous asks in my askbox. :)))
el oh el, how silly of me. i forgot how it's totally impossible for me to be bothered by both the colloquial use of the r-word as well as cr*zy.
SORRY EVERYONE I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT I HAVE A LIMITED AMOUNT OF THINGS I SHOULD CARE ABOUT.

And the wank was on. As it transpired, SomeOtherMonstra //"posted about it on tumblr and linked us, it's like the abyss is staring back at us."// Back on f_fa, she also wrote,

I'm sorry. I wasn't aware that being called crazy since I was at least four and having depression as well as undiagnosed executive functioning problems for several years meant that I cannot have problems with people throwing around words like crazy or insane as it meant nothing.
And I also wasn't aware that being sent several asks about why I should “know the difference” and stop being “ridiculous” should mean nothing to me.
I mean, obviously y'all's feelings are so much more important than mine. :)

They were told, among other things,

She also claimed that seeing the word “crazy” was triggering. A few nonnies asked her how she could type the word “crazy” without getting triggered.

Another told her,

I also have a mental illness and had the word “crazy” used against me, and please believe me when I say that I'm sorry that happened to you, and it's okay that you're sensitive about it now.
But it's impossible to make a space safe for everyone, because everyone has different needs. It's not about people who can cope with some words being less ridiculous than the ones who can't, it's that for some people, choose not to warn spaces and spaces where vocabulary is not usually policed are things that help them feel safe. Some people with anxiety have a difficult time handling spaces where one wrong word choice can bring a fight. Some people with any MI can feel really uncomfortable at casual uses of “crazy” or “insane” being always equated with actual MI-shaming. Even outside of the MI-words debate, some people have been abused in ways that make it impossible for them to participate in spaces with a high level of shaming around word choice.
Meme is what it is. For some people, that is exactly what they mean. I'm sorry if it is not for you, but personally I'd have a really hard time participating in fandom if there were not choose not to warn/similar mindset about word choice spaces around. There are other memes out there that have different cultures, and maybe one of them will suit your needs better.

One of SomeOtherMonstra's Tumblr SJW friends threatened violence against nonnies, which was discussed here. In that thread, she mistook the "velociraptor" meme for deliberate transphobia.
