All the bestiality talk this post has reminded me of that time a few years ago when one of meme's favorite fic authors dropped a pwp with untagged bestiality kink, I got upset and went into the comments to tell them to tag it, and saw that someone else had already left an upset comment and the author had responded by saying that they didn't need to tag it because they'd tagged it CNTW. So, what, you'll willingly tag the half a dozen other bog-standard kinks in the fic but the horsefucking is the one that gets covered under CNTW?? I'm over it, but it turned me off fic from that author forever.

This ignited 400 comments of wank over whether it was a dick move to use the CNTW tag, then tag anyway for various things but not for a very uncommon and controversial kink. It would have been an unremarkable Warnings Wank, complete with ridiculous analogies, especially food analogies, and references to past wanks. Except that it was about horsefucking. And it produced gems of comments like these:

Someone got upset at me in my comments for not warning them about the bestiality in my fic. But I tagged it CNTW, and horsefucking isn't even a required archive warning! I don't think I'm the asshole, but they're being really insistent and I'm starting to doubt myself.
