Beginning in August of 2018, meme's posts have sometimes ended by being claimed by bats—that is, the Masters of the Bazaar from the online browser game Fallen London, which some nonnies enjoy.
Each post thus far has been in the persona of a Master: Mr Iron, Mr Wines, Mr Veils, Mr Stones, Mr Hearts, Mr Wines again, Mr Spices, and Mr Cups. Other Masters appear in the comments, including a certain Mr Eaten.
