Racheline "Rach" Maltese, who goes by [[http://rm.livejournal.com|RM]] on LiveJournal, was [[http://fail-fandomanon.livejournal.com/341.html?thread=389973#t389973|first mentioned on f_fa in the very first post]]. Since then she has become a perennial Gentlefailer topic. She becomes quite upset when she is "exiled" from her beloved New York, which is the only cultured spot on the planet, and sent (she works in television) to places like Switzerland, which [[http://rm.livejournal.com/1953856.html|has no vegetables]], or Cardiff, which [[http://rm.livejournal.com/1959141.html|has no dry cleaners]].

RM has also solicited, on LJ and elsewhere, [[http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1604890644/dogboy-and-justine-workshop-production|financial backing]] for a play that [[http://www.trebleentendre.com/|she had not even written yet]] and as of October 2011 was still not complete.

After receiving more attention than she'd have liked from Gentlefailers (examples [[http://rm.livejournal.com/1952503.html?thread=23075063|in this thread]] regarding her support for [[Neo-Prodigy|Neo_Prodigy]]), she stopped posting anything but fanfic at LiveJournal and moved her Deep Thots to [[http://lettersfromtitan.com/|Letters from Titan]], where she can be seen worrying about [[http://lettersfromtitan.com/2011/08/11/diner-en-blanc-some-accomodations-arent-that-accomodating/|how an extremely exclusive flash mob-cum-dinner party]] isn't inclusive enough, [[http://lettersfromtitan.com/2011/07/11/harry-potter-severus-snape-as-a-representation-of-female-heroism/|calling Snape an example of "female heroism,"]] and [[http://lettersfromtitan.com/2011/07/01/holiday-weekend-trash-day-is-sort-of-filled-with-serious-stuff/|insisting that coming out "is a privilege, but also that it is a responsibility."]]

Around Easter 2013, [[http://fail-fandomanon.livejournal.com/53491.html?thread=248751603#t248751603|A nonny took issue]] with [[http://lettersfromtitan.com/2013/04/01/nick-cave-a-laying-on-of-hands/|RM claiming]] that Easter Sunday coincided with the first day of Passover this year. Another nonny observed that RM was talking about a past Easter, so the discussion shifted to her overall pretentiousness.

In particular, she asked people in her post to, "//**consider the ways we can help queer all marriage**, the ways we can help equalize it, by helping to break down gender stereotypes and expectations,"// and nonnies discussed whether this was poorly phrased (consensus: yes) and/or appropriative (consensus: no, since RM herself is queer and married to another woman).
