There is a sense in which I know\\
why one might like [[CatValente|the Cat]]\\
whose paws shed clouds upon the snow\\
(or some poetic\\
thing like that)\\
\\
She walks in haystacks, like the light\\
that drowns a haddock in the sea;\\
she freezes phrases overnight, for cubes\\
to pay the tailor's fee!\\
And if word salad has a spice\\
that makes your nose itch pleasantly,\\
then yes! Valente's very nice,\\
as nice as clouded cats can be.
